The console terminal drawer is a unit that has an integration of a keyboard and a 17” LCD display which can be flipped up into a 1U Rackmount KVM Drawer. The unit has been built for the use with headless servers and has been made compatible with Unix, AIX, Linux, Windows and Sun Solaris. Using SSH or telnet, it permits a secure remote IP access, which allows the user access across the network to configure RS 232 devices. The prime feature of this drawer is the 104 key notepad keyboard with complete numerical pad, optical hardware and side rails that are fixed positioned so as to prevent movement. The unit has been made available with a console switch of 16 port.
